    I am running Office 2003 SP2.

I am exporting data from Active Report 1.0 SP2 within VB6 SP5. The exported excel file can be opened by Office 2003 SP2.

I apply Office 2003 SP3 and suddenly the same exported file cannot be read. Excel informs me the file appears to be corrupt and requires a repair procedure. This procedure does not repair the file.

I applied Active Reports v2.0 SP5. It does not resolve my problem either. I get the corrupt file message with both Office SP2 and SP3. I cannot explain the sudden problem with Office SP2 even after it proved to work. I am not sure if a hotfix or some other update causes the Office SP2 change.

Any assistance will be appreciated as i have some irate clients.
