In Xamarin.Forms, the C1ComboBox is throwing an ArgumentOutOfRangeException when you select an item where the DisplayMemberPath value is a blank string, an empty string, or null. In my test cases, I found that when the value is an empty string or null, it won’t throw the exception until at least one item in the ComboBox has been selected before. If the value is a blank string (e.g. " "), the exception will be thrown if the blank string is the first item selected. This is happening in v2.5.20173.238 and on UWP, iOS, and Android.

The forum text editor seems to have removed some of my empty spaces. By blank string I mean a string that is made up of one more more spaces. I tried to represent that with quotation marks and spaces, but since the spaces were removed, it appears as if there are none. Sorry for any confusion.

    Hi Jared,

I could replicate the issue at my end as well and I’m forwarding it to the development team. Hopefully it should be fixed in the future releases. I’ll keep you updated with any information I get on this. (Tracking Id 305042)

    Sorry for the inconvenience
