    Hi Team,

I have frozen columns in the Flex Grid, where

    fg.Cols.Frozen is used.

The issue here is, we are not able to see the cursor movement, we are not able to select, though it should not be editable, we want the cursor to be shown when selected. We have used the frozen property as we want some columns to be frozen.

Please suggest as it is urgent.

    Thanks,

    Amar.

    Hi Amar,

I am sorry to mention but I could not replicate the issue at my end. Please refer the attached sample.

Could you please either modify the attached application or provide your own stripped down project so that I can try reproducing the same behavior at my end and assist you further accordingly?

You may also try using the latest build and see if the problem persists. You can download the same from here:

    Thanks,

    Hi Pragati

    Thank you for your reply.

In the same you have provided. The issue is reproduced. When I click on the two columns Dosage and Drug, cells are not selected. Though they are frozen, we want the select option on these cells.

I should be in a position to select the cell and also move up or down with the key board. This happens correctly on the other two cells which are not frozen. Patient and Date column are working fine, Same behavior I want on the frozen columns Dosage and Drug.

This is my requirement though first two columns are frozen.

    thanks,

    Amar.

    Hi Mohit,

    Thanks for your reply.

Now it is working fine after upgrading to the latest version.

Can you please suggest, what is the best way to upgrade the project completely.

We are already in production, so just wanted to make sure how it is going to impact and what is the best practice to upgrade the project to the new version.

    Thanks,

    Amar.

    Hello,

You could use the C1ProjectUpdater to update your project.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\ComponentOne\C1StartMenu\C1ProjectUpdater

    Then choose your solution.

This will automatically set the References in your project to Version Specific = false

Then will update your licenses.licx to not be version specific

Then it will update your controls to the new version.

You will also be able to do this manually if you would like to.

    Thanks,

    Mohit

    Hi Mohit,

    Thanks for your reply.

Now, I just got an update, that I cannot do a version upgrade at this point of time, as we have some planned work going on.

For now, Alternative is to fix the problem in the Version “C1WinForms.4_4.0.20171” without upgrading. Do you have any suggestion for me to do the fix without doing the Component One Upgrade?

Old versions never had this issue, is it introduced as bug in “C1WinForms.4_4.0.20171”. Because old versions we have are working fine.

    Thanks,

    amar

    Hello,

You could use hotfix of version “C1WinForms.4_4.0.20171” instead of upgrading . Issue is also fixed in hotfix of “C1WinForms.4_4.0.20171” which can be downloaded from below links.
