    Hi,

I’m trying to use the superlabel component with the “Can Grow = True” property, but when the text is too large it does not change the page, as a “normal label” can do. Check the attached image.

Important: All properties exactly match the properties of the “normal label” that make this process correctly.

    Hello,

I tried using a SuperLabel field with the latest build designer (4.0.20182.320) and could not observe the issue with the attached report. Please refer the screenshot showing the same.

Can you try the same with the latest C1FlexReportDesigner at your end and share the observations? You can download the builds from here: http://prerelease.componentone.com/dotnet40/c1winforms/2018-t2/C1WinForms.4_4.0.20182.320.zip

    Thanks, Esha!

Here in the company where I work we use the application “C1 Report Design” and in it the error occurs even in the most current version that you directed me to use.

I tested the application “C1 Flex Report Design” and in it the error does not occur.

Can you tell me the difference between the two applications?

I need to save in xml format, so I cant use “C1 Flex Report Designer” application.

In attachment an example that needs to be opened by the “C1 Report Designer” application to cause the error

    I inserted two fields:

Field2, which is a normal “Text” field and

    Field16, which is a “SuperLabel”.

Toggle the “Visible = True / False” property in each field and check the error in SuperLabel when change pages.

    Hello,

I could observe the issue with C1ReportDesigner as well. However, as per the development team, C1Report does not support splitting custom fields between pages (Superlabel is a custom field). This is a limitation.

Further, I would like to inform you that C1Report is now obsolete. C1FlexReport is our flagship reporting tool that was introduced as C1Report’s enhanced version: https://www.grapecity.com/en/forums/winforms-edition/c1report-is-now-obsolete-t

The below mentioned blog would help you understand the difference between the two:

    Best Regards,

    Esha
