    Hello,

I signed up for Spread.Services trial and received my license. I learned that i can configure a license using Grapecity License manager for Visual Studio, but i am not using one - i am building Spread.Services demo with docker (my configuration: https://github.com/leriel/Spread.Services-for-.NET/blob/master/AspNetCoreDemo/AspNetCore%2BReact/Dockerfile https://github.com/leriel/Spread.Services-for-.NET/blob/master/AspNetCoreDemo/AspNetCore%2BReact/docker-compose.yml)

It does work, but i would like to run the demo on my server and from what i can see, i need a license for that. How can i configure one without visual studio? Can i somehow produce xml file with license myself?

Also a question about format support. From what i can see, Spread.Services supports xlsx, but it crashes for any xls files (tested using Excel Input&Output Demo: api/SpreadServices/ImportExcel). Is it a matter of host environment, configuration or package version?

I saw note saying Spread.Services are ‘for server-side spreadsheet generation, manipulation, and serialization to various formats including xlsx and ssjson’ but i’m unsure if xlsx and ssjson are only formats supported.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello,

It looks Spread.Services does not support XLS files. I also tested it by importing an XLS file and it failed.

For licensing information you can check the documentation given here:

    http://help.grapecity.com/spread/SpreadServices/webframe.html#ApplyLicense.html

You need to use the SetLicense method of LicenseManager class in order to license your application.

    Thanks,
