Hello. We are evaluating purchasing a license for Spread.Services and we wanted to know if it supports all the same features that the client side library (Spread.Sheets) supports. For example, do both support the same formulas or are there any formulas that are supported on one side and not on the other? Same with other features, are there any features on client-side that are not yet available on server-side? If so, would you mind letting me know which are these formulas/features that are not yet supported? Are there any known issues?

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards.

    Hello,

In documentation feature list for Spread.Services is not as long as we have for Spread.Sheets.

But I believe it should work for all formulas and features of Spread.Sheets.

In case you face any issues please let me know.

I have also asked the development team to confirm about the same.

    Thanks,

    Deepak Sharma

The issue we are having right now is this one:

    https://www.grapecity.com/en/forums/spread-services/exception-create-workbook-

    Looks like the JSON generated from Spread.Sheets it is not compatible with the one Spread.Services needs to import. In Spread.Sheets, RGBA is saved as a string like “rgba(255,255,255,0)” and in Spread.Services RGBA is an object like {“a”: 0, “r”: 255, “g”: 255, “b”: 255}

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I got the confirmation that all Formulas for Spread.Sheets are supported with Spread.Services. Here are the few points that should be aware of:

These are the functions which are not there in Spread.Services:

    1. Custom Sparkline functions SparklineEx do not work on Spread.Services (we might add them though)
    2. Async functions and Refresh do not work on Spread.

    Feature:

from the data storage point of view,

    1. CellType
    2. Binding feature (sheet level binding, cell level binding, table level binding).
    3. Cell Padding & Labels.
    4. FloatingObject concept.
    5. Cell Watermark.
    6. Tag
    7. Trailing Freeze
    8. All customize support features.

Also I have replied to your other forum post here:
