    Hi,

Can you, please, show me an example of how to populate a combobox cell type via an ajax request? I need to populate on demand, when the user clicks on the arrow, using some sort of loading or UI blocking until the response comes back from the server. Response is very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mircea

    Hi Mircea,

You are right, the dropdown shows as soon as you click the combobox drop down button.

I don’t find a way to cause delay in dropdown for ComboBox celltype in SpreadJS. I will further discuss this issue with the development team and let you know if we find a solution or workaround. The tracking id for this issue is 259061.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Currently SpreadJS combobox celltype does not support this feature.

You can use any 3rd party combo which supports ajax call fetching data and then use it in a cell with custom cell type.

To know how to create a custom celltype you can go through the documentation online.

    Thanks,
