    Hi,

using the latest build of FlexReport (4.0.20181.303) when we try to export the report to PDF all RightToLeft=True fields ending with punctuation marks (colon, semi-colon, period, etc’) the punctuation marks appear in the wrong order.

Viewing the report is just fine, exporting to RTF is OK, printing is fine…

    Attached are 3 files:

    1. The Report itself (Report.xml)
    2. The PDF Export outcome (C1-PDF.pdf)
    3. The PDF - Print output - Print to ‘Microsoft Print to PDF’ (MS-PDF.pdf)

Are we setting it wrong? is it a BUG?

    Thanks,

    Guy

    Hi Esha,

    Any News? Updates?

I must export the report to PDF correctly. I Have an XPS-2-PDF converter but rendering a report to XPS is not possible (or so i’ve been told by your support…)

    Awaiting your reply,

    Guy

    Hi Esha,

What is the expected release date?

Also, as the issue is pressing, could you provide me with a beta/pre-release fixed version?

    Thank you,

    Guy.

    Hi Esha,

Thank you for providing the files. However the issue is PARTIALLY FIXED…

    • RightToLeft=True fields ending with punctuation marks (colon, semi-colon, period, etc’) the punctuation marks appear OK.
    • RightToLeft=True fields starting with numbers OR punctuation marks (colon, semi-colon, period, parentheses , brackets , etc’) the entire line appear in the wrong order.

Attached are 3 files (in the ZIP):

    1. The Report itself (Report1.xml)
    2. The PDF Export outcome (Report1.pdf)
    3. The XPS Export outcome, Via FlexViewer (Report1.XPS)
    4. The BUG (Report1-BUG.png)
    5. How it should be (Report1-OK.png)

Please fix it in the same 2018v2 build…

    Guy.

    Hi Ruchir,

We’re testing build 4.0.20182.314 and it seems that the issue was fixed however it “bugged” a different issue.

Now all fields containing only numbers & punctuation marks - all punctuation marks are printed at the end of the number…

Causing dates to print 01072018// instead of 01/07/2018, or 1234569-- instead of 123-456-9

Attached are 3 files (in the ZIP):

    1. The Report itself (Report2.xml)
    2. The PDF Export outcome (Report2.pdf)
    3. The XPS Export outcome, Via FlexViewer (Report2.XPS)
    4. The BUG (Report2-BUG.png)
    5. How it should be (Report2-OK.png)

    Please fix it…

    Guy.
