RenderImage and Windows Scaling

    Greetings,

When using C1Preview to create a custom PDF using RenderObjects. I am having issues adding an Image to a TableCell via TableCell.Image. It appeared that the image being rendered was only displaying 75% of the width and height of the actual image. When I switched to a different machine to create a test program to supply as an example I found that the issue didn’t appear. I was able to track down the issue to being the Windows Scaling on 4k monitors being set to 125% compared to other monitors with scaling set to 100%. Once I changed my 4k system to 100% scaling the image appeared just fine.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can’t seem to locate that will keep the images from being truncated if the end user has windows scaling something other that 100%?

    Sample attached.

    Thanks

    Norm

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing the application.

I could also replicate the issue at my end. When Windows scaling is set to a value greater than 100%, image rendered in a TableCell is not scaled correctly. I have forwarded the issue to the developers (internal tracking ID: 329989) and will let you know once there is any information from them.

I would also like you to know that C1Report is in maintenance mode since last two years, as mentioned here:

Thank you for the update. I’m glad to see that the issue is reproducible.

I am aware of the new reporting tool, and upgrading is on our list of things to do - I’m just not in a hurry to redesign all the reports yet.

    Thanks!
