Hi everyone - we use a report writer called Compass which is built into a EDP system called Epicor Eagle. ActiveReports is literally ‘bolted’ onto this thing and it’s actually a feature that isn’t really supported by the vendor - “use at your own risk” so to speak.
It’s been working fine for years but recently we had to upgrade it’s ‘house’ from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and now just about every single one of my ActiveReports reports are broken. They either print 8.5x11 reports that are broken down into around 2" high sections (causing a normal report that is 10 pages to become one that is like 40 pages). OR they generate this error message and don’t process at all:
DataDynamics.ActiveReports.ReportException: Page header/footer too large. Increase paper size or reduce header/footer height at #mb.#vqb.#DEb(Boolean bAllowGrowth) at #mb.#vqb.#vEb() at #mb.#vqb.#qEb(Page newPage, Single left, Single top, Single right, Single bottom, UInt32 flags, UInt32& status) at DataDynamics.ActiveReports.ActiveReport.#4yb() at DataDynamics.ActiveReports.ActiveReport.Run(Boolean syncDocument) at Norris.Controls.NReportViewer.SetLicenceValuesAndRun() at Norris.Controls.NReportViewer.LoadReportViewerWithEvents(
I saw some discussion of this error in another thread but it’s a bit dated so I thought I’d bring it back up here in a new one.
The issue only occurs when it processes a report to save as a PDF. I’ve tried just about everything I can think of to try - just can’t seem to fix. Thoughts?! Thank you!
