  Is there anyway to use SQL inside expressions? For example, selecting distinct values within a dataset or data source rather than creating a new data set with desired values?

  Currently using RDL Multi Section Report template in VS.

  Hi Bryan,

  There’s no way to use SQL inside expressions, however, if you want to filter the data in your dataset you can add any data region such as a List/Table/BandedList/etc. and add a filter to it, in the filter you can specify which data field(s) you want the values to be selected from.

  Please find attached a sample implementing the same.
