  Hi

  We would like to be able to perform a command line install of Active Reports 18. i.e. no GUI

  This link https://developer.mescius.com/kb/silent-installation-for-activereports-v7-v13 seems to suggest it’s only possible for versions 7 to 13.

  Is there a recommended way to do it?

  Hi Jonathan,

  You may use the following steps to install ActiveReports 18 using the following steps:

  1. Use the following tool to install ActiveReports 18 using the command line: https://wixtoolset.org/docs/intro/
  2. To install WiX you may use the following command:

  dotnet tool install --global wix --version 4.0.0

  3. Once you have installed WiX, you may use the following command to install ActiveReports 18 using the command line:

  ActiveReports-v18.0.0.1155.exe /s /v/qn

  P.S., make sure the current directory is the one with the ActiveReports 18 installer.
