    Hello there,

I am having a real headache trying to figure out how to filter my data using the DateRange Parameter. When I select the date range and preview, it does not seem to filter the data.

Let me run you through my steps so you see if I make making a mistake anywhere.

NB: i am using a csv data.

STEP 1: To begin with, I add two new parameters of Data type Date and give them unique names. I do not add any other data in the “AVAILABLE DATA” section. I also select a date format of dd/MM/yy. Please note that dates in the DATE column of my csv file are in that same format.

STEP 2: I go to the PARAMETER section found on the toolbar in the DESIGN INTERFACE. This takes me to the parameter design section where i am given the option to select a default desing. The design assigned to me is usually the DateTime Editor.

STEP 3: I do not use the default paramater option given to me and go ahead to select the DateRange Editor.

STEP 4: In the BINDING sector where we have “FOR” and “TO”, I select one of each of the parameters I created earlier. And I assign a default value to the “‘FROM’ PARAMETER” section. After which i add a PREVIEW button.

STEP 5: I then preview the report. I begin to select a date range and click the preview button i created. The document loads and returns all the data in my csv file unfiltered. This method seems not to work, I would like that you send me the correct approach to using the “DateRange Editor” parameter. Please make sure it an extensive explanation or documentation, or something like a video. Cause i have read through a lot of the sections under https://developer.mescius.com/activereportsjs/demos/Reports/GetStartedWithTabularReports/purejs and still have not got any solution. So i prefer an alternate solution. Thanks
