I want to have a header/footer with one size on my first page but on second and following pages i want a different size.

I have tried with fixed paged layout, but that doesnt satisfy my needs. I want the content in the body to not be fixed to one page but continuous and able to continue on the coming pages dynamically.

Is there any way to solve this?

Adding to this: I’m using the ActiveReportJS designer.

    Hi Jonathan,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have different sizes of headers or footers for different pages in a single report.

Although, if you only require a different header/footer size for the first page and then all the pages with the same Header/Footer height, with ActiveReportsJS v4 you can design Multi-Section reports in which you can have a single-page report for your first page with a different Header/Footer height and then the remaining pages in a different report with a different Header/Footer height.

Please find attached a sample for the page.

    Hi Anand!

    Thanks for your reply.

I have explored that option but its not really what im looking for.

In the example you have provided im guessing there is no way to make the content of the body continue on the next page in the report dynamically?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

Yes, unfortunately, it is not possible to have a variable header/footer size with the content of the body to continue on the next page in ActiveReports.

    Anand
