We have an old vb WinForms application that is using ActiveReports v9.

We have included a licences.licx file in the project and it’s all good.

However, just recently we have converted that project from vb to c# and now the activeReports is complaining about not being licensed.

And ideas on how to resolve this?

    Hello,

Are you using the same AR9 version while converting your project?

Also, Could you please your current machine is licensed or not?

Are you able to run the VB project on the same machine?

    Thanks,

    Mohit

    Hi Mohit,

    Thanks for your response.

Yes, they are the same ar9 version before and after the conversion.

The machine I am running on is not licensed, however, the vb project runs fine on it.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hello,

It is because of VB project is already build. You need to license your machine for C# project. Also, when you change something in Vb project and try to build, you get the same error in VB project also.

    Thanks,

    Mohit
