I have converted a project containing several AR6 and AR7 reports to AR13. After conversion, there are no .rpx files. The designer won’t load some of the files and others cause an error when trying to load the designer into Visual Studio. The stacktrace when the designer tried to load is as follows: at System.ComponentModel.Design.Serialization.RootCodeDomSerializer.Deserialize(IDesignerSerializationManager manager, Object codeObject)

    at GrapeCity.ActiveReports.Serializer.ReportRootCodeDomSerializer.Deserialize(IDesignerSerializationManager manager, Object codeObject)

    at System.ComponentModel.Design.Serialization.CodeDomDesignerLoader.PerformLoad(IDesignerSerializationManager manager)

    at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Design.Serialization.CodeDom.VSCodeDomDesignerLoader.PerformLoad(IDesignerSerializationManager serializationManager)

    at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Design.Serialization.CodeDom.VSCodeDomDesignerLoader.DeferredLoadHandler.Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextManager.Interop.IVsTextBufferDataEvents.OnLoadCompleted(Int32 fReload)

    Please advise …

    Hello,

After conversion, there are no .rpx files.

Could you please provide more detail on this issue. RPX file is deleted in your project. Or did you have the rpx and .cs file and after conversion, it becomes .cs and designer.cs file, if yes, it is design behavior. It convert the RPX file into the .designer.cs file.

Could you please change the FW of application to 4.6.2 as AR13 supports 4.6.2 or higher FW.

    Thanks,

    Mohit
