  We recently upgraded from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2022. When we did that our reports started throwing the error “Object is currently in use elsewhere”. It seems to only be happening with reports with images. Has anyone else seen this?

  Hi Mike,

  We noticed the issue was reported in ActiveReports 15 and had later been fixed, we’ll suggest you download the last released version of ActiveReports 15 from here: https://cdn.grapecity.com/ActiveReports/ar15/ActiveReports-v15.3.9.msi and test if the issue persists.

  However, if the issue persists we’ll suggest you upgrade to the latest version of ActiveReports i.e. ActiveReports 17 as ActiveReports 15 is out of maintenance and therefore we won’t be able to provide a hotfix for the same.
