    Hello,

we use Active Reports 14 and have a problem with exporting.

We get the error message “invalid file format (signature)”. The report contains only the font “Arial”. About the process, we print 20 reports and it is always the same report with different data. Now 10 reports are printed, then one report comes with the error message “invalid file format (signature)” and the remaining 9 reports are printed normally again.

Is there any way to determine where exactly the problem is?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Can you please share the running report with us so that I can replicate the issue at my end. It will be very helpful for us to narrow down the issue.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I have uploaded the report. As data source we use an XML which is still manipulated by our application.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Case is closed as you shared only the report without the database. Can you please reopen the case and share the required database to run the report.

    Thanks,

    Mohit

    Hi Ravikanth,

There can be many reasons behind this issue, like any missing dll or if you are using an unsupported font type. Please note that ActiveReports only supports True Type Fonts (TTF).

We tried to export a sample report using ActiveReports v17.2.2, and the exported PDF seems to load as expected. We have used Custom Font Resolver. Please see the attached sample. If the issue persists, please try sharing a runnable sample with sample data demonstrating the issue so we can replicate the issue on our end and investigate the issue further.
