I am trying to create a section report that consists of several other reports compiled together. The user would otherwise have to run them one by one and manually collate.

The issue I am running into is that the page headers are different on these reports, and the report uses the page header of the main report instead of the page headers of the sub report that the page is currently on. And the amount of reports per “member” is dynamic - so I can’t swap the page header based on page number.

Ideally, I would like for the subreport to include the page headers and page footers as well. In my case, there should never be more than one subreport on the same page.

Is there a way to do this, or is there a better approach to accomplish what I am trying to do?

If I could string together PDF exports, this would work great as well but I can’t figure out how to do that.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, SubReports do not show the PageHeaders/Footers in the parent report this is by design. However, as a workaround, in your SubReports you can add an empty group and set its ‘RepeatStyle’ to ‘OnPage’ this way the GroupHeader/Footer will appear at the top and bottom of each page the same as a PageHeader/Footer.

As you do not want more than one SubReport on the same page, you can add ‘Page Break’ control between your SubReport controls in the main report.

Please find attached a sample implementing the same.

    Regards,

    Anand
