    Hi,

As you are using a very old version of ComponentOne i.e. 2006 and it is not tested with the latest Windows versions including Windows 8.1 that you are using so it is likely that it will not work.

As there have been many changes done over the years so I would suggest you kindly upgrade to the latest version which will work properly with Windows 8.1 Pro.

You can download the latest version from the given link:

    Hello Prabhat,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately my software requires that version of the software.

Do the install logs indicate any type of problem that I might be able to fix?

    What does the function

    C1CallLicense
do during the Install and what about the return code of 3? ```

    C1CallLicense. Return value 3.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry, but this much old version is not supported with Windows 8.1 pro so I would suggest you use the older Windows version which is compatible to work with this.
