I developed a VB.Net windows application using component one ActiveX control(AxVSFlex8.AxVSFlexGrid). The exe is running fine in my computer but when I tried to run the same exe in other computer , It doesn’t work and getting the error message of “An unhandled Microsoft .Net framework exception occurred”. So do I need to install component one studio in other computer too ?

Hi Gulshan,
The issue does not seem specific to our ActiveX controls, rather to .Net framework. Are you able to run any other exe on this machine successfully?

No, it is not needed as long as the related ocx files are registered properly on your development machine.

I developed 2 exe(windows application). one is without component one grid and other is with component active x grid control. Normal exe is opening in the computer but component one exe is not evening opening in the computer.
I am using ComponentOne FlexGrid 8.0 (AXVSFlexGrid8N.AxVSFlexGrid) in the application.
Do I need to install component one or active x control in the computer where I need to run the exe ?

Which ocx file do I need to install in my development machine. Can you provide the name of the files ?

Hi Gulshan,
You should register vsflex8n.ocx on your dev machine using the regsvr32 utility. If this is done and the problem still reproduces, please share the project (with VSFlexGrid) that you just created to replicate the issue along with the OS details of your development machine and the machine where it does not work.
I would like to investigate this further.
