In the older versions of the Spreadsheet I can set the cell type to Label. Doing this would prevent the user editing the cell and would also prevent a cursor showing in the cell.

With V13, I cannot see this option. If I set the cell to text and read only, the user is till able to select the cell and double clicking will show the cursor, as will trying to type in the cell - although editing is not possible.

Is there a simple way to hide the cursor or replicate the label cell type form previous versions?

    Hello John,

You should set the Locked property to true for the cell. Additionally, you should ensure that the sheet is protected by setting its Protect property to true. For details, please refer following documentation page: https://www.grapecity.com/spreadnet/docs/v13/online-win/spwin-celllock.html

    Regards,

Excellent. That appears to work, though I have not checked if the buttons in some cells still function when they were not set to locked.

So much easier than just setting the cell as a label
