Is it possible for a user to add rich text modifications to the cell directly without using a second div or input.

For example in google sheets the user is able to highlight a portion of the text in a cell and directly apply bold to only the highlighted section

    Hi Adisa,

You may create a rich Text editor celltype for the required functionality. Please refere to the following attached sample that demonstrates the same.

Hi Avinash thanks for the sample, in the sample the buttons for (font family, font size and so on) are directly added to the div element (gcEditingInput).

Is it possible to have the ability to modify the rich text from buttons that arent a part of the actual editing element?
