We have an Excel workbook that imports as expected, but hangs the Designer when attempting to print. The file is attached. Please advise.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the Excel file with us. I was able to replicate the issue at my end with the latest version of SpreadJS V16.2.5. It seems like an issue with the SpreadJS and therefore, I have escalated it to the concerned dev team for further investigation.
The internal tracking id for the same is SJS-21189 and I will let you know when there is further info on this from the dev team.
Regards,
Ankit

Hi,
The devs have confirmed the issue as a bug. The devs have mentioned that in the excel file that you have shared, the data in the Cell D1502 is “MM” and the setting is “Fit Sheet On One Page”. While printing the Excel file, Excel had some policies, didn’t fit all the content on one page, but separated it into 10 pages.
However, SpreadJS still tries to make the 1502 rows into one page, which makes the final print scale logic wrong. The devs wanted to know if it is a valid use case for you to set the “Fit Sheet on One Page” as it seems meaningless in this case or it is just for testing purposes? Could you kindly clarify?
Regards,
Ankit

Thank you for the explanation. This particular spreadsheet is from an end-client and has been in use and modified for several years. I do not believe they ever print it. We tried as we are evaluating SpreadJS.
I suspect the MM in D1502 is meaningless. So this is an anomaly and not a valid use case.
