We are receiving errors when we export an SJS file to Excel using the Designer component and when using code to export. The file exports as expected, but then when trying to open in Excel, throws are error. Excel allows for ‘repairs’ after which the file opens fine.

A snip of the Excel error dialog is attached as well as a copy of an exported Excel file that has the error.

    The workflow is to:

    1. Create a file in Excel and save.
    2. Import it into the Designer.
    3. Save as an SJS using the Designer or code.
    4. Open the SJS file in the Designer or code.
    5. Export the file to Excel using the Designer or code.
    6. Open exported file in Excel and receive the error.

    Hi,

Based on my understanding, you encounter an error when attempting to open the exported Excel file either from the designer or through code.

I attempted to replicate the issue on my end by following the provided workflow, but was unsuccessful. I have attached a video and the exported Excel file which did not generate any errors when opened in Excel.

Can you share additional details, such as the version of the designer and the Excel version you are currently using?

Can you share a sample demonstrating the behavior you’ve observed. So that we can assist you better.

    Best regards,

    Ankit
