Hello,
I found a discrepancy between the way this is handled in Excel vs SpreadJs.
See the Excel file in the attached zip.
The Excel file has the following:
- Group from A to D
- Group from F to I
- Group from K to O
- Group from Q to V
- Frozen Panes in AK4
- All columns from A to Z are hidden
This is what the file looks like when opened in Excel :
As you can see, all the columns that are supposed to be hidden are hidden
Here is the file opened in SpreadJs :
As you can see, all the group expand columns for the hidden columns are visible
This problem doesn’t seem to happen when there are no frozen panes.
Here is what happens when clicking on 2 (Expanding all groups) in Excel :
The group expand columns seem to have a width of 0
Here is what happens when clicking on 2 (Expanding all groups) in SpreadJs :
The group expand columns are fully visible. So when pressing on 1 (collapse all groups), the group columns will remain visible.
Are you aware of this? Are those bugs or will we have to handle these cases programatically on our end?
Thanks!
