Is there a way to identify that a row or column was hidden? Such as an arrow indicator on hover ?

Hi Adisa,
We are sorry but this feature currently not supported in SJS. We have made an enhancement request on your behalf. We will update once we have any information regarding this feature. The internal ID for this will be SJS-7301.

Hi Adisa,
The team informed us that In Excel there is no “hidden” concept, even you right-click on the row/col header and choose hide, it just changes the size to zero, and you can resize the row/column out manually.
That’s why when we design the resizeZeroIndicator, just cover the size = 0 cases.
The “hidden” in SpreadJS is the real hidden, the row/column could not be shown anymore.
In SpreadJS, we actually hide the row, and it isn’t visible at all. We would need to redo the way that hidden cells work in SpreadJS, so for right now this is in our product backlog.
