Used Ctrl + C → Ctrl + V to paste a formula from one workbook to another. In Excel it pastes the formula, in SpreadJS it pastes the actual value of the formula.
Can this be fixed to match Excel?

Hi,
Pasting among the different workbooks is currently not supported with SpreadJS because of the limited access to the clipboard.
Excel desktop has the access to the internal clipboard and they share the same clipboard among the different workbooks that are for formula is got pasted properly.
Excel 365 online paste action is performed as a serverside action because of that it is able to paste the formula correctly.
Hope this clarifies the issue. Please let me know if you have further queries regarding this case.

Hello,
My first post here, been working is SpreadJS for 3 months already, and I do have the same issue and it is not even involving different worksheets or workbooks.
Many time I would select the range of cells that have the formulas and use CTRL-C to copy and then CTRL-V to paste in a different section of the SAME worksheet and I some times I I do not get the formula pasted?!

Hi Wasim,
Pasting within the sheet should not cause any issue. Could you please provide a sample on which you are facing this issue so that we could investigate it further and assist you accordingly?
Also please make sure you are not changing the sheet after paste action(inside any events such as clipBoardPasted or clipBoardPasting) because it will clear the internal clipboard and in that case, the formula will not be pasted.
