Hello Spreadjs community, hope you are doing fine
I need the formulas inside the ‘Insert Function’ modal translated, when I type the formulas in the cell it comes with the desired language, because I’ve setted the CalcEngine Language Pack, but in the modal it does not.

Hi,
As per my understanding, you want to show the functions’ names in the desired language similar to the image attached below.
For this, you can add resources with your added culture in SpreadJS. In the resources, the “Functions” property can be used to add the resources for all the functions. Kindly refer to the below sample and the attached image for more understanding.
For more information, kindly refer to the custom localization demo of SpreadJS at https://developer.mescius.com/spreadjs/demos/features/culture/custom-localization/purejs. If you continue to face any issues, kindly let us know. Also, provide us with a sample that replicates the issue. It will enable us to investigate more thoroughly and find the root cause of the issue.

Hi Chandan, hope you are doing well,
I have all the functions description in my resources file translated to Brazilian Portuguese, but the left side of the modal is the function category and I can’t find it on the resources file

Hi,
I am not certain how you are setting the designer resources. So, I am not able to replicate the issue at my end. So, could you please provide us with a sample that replicates the issue? It would help us to thoroughly investigate the root cause of the issue and provide a suitable solution.

we are setting like this:
GC.Spread.Common.CultureManager.addCultureInfo(`${minhaCultura.name()}-ACCY`, minhaCultura, resources);the resources are on the zipped fileresources.zip

Hi,
After investigating the issue, we found that the Insert Function modal did not show texts in Brazilian Portuguese because those text values are taken from the Designer resources. To make changes in the Insert Function modal, you would need to change the resources of the designer. The GC.Spread.Sheets.Designer.getResources() and GC.Spread.Sheets.Designer.setResources() method can be utilized to get and set the designer resources respectively.
Kindly refer to the below code snippet and the attached sample.
Similarly, you can also modify the texts of other Designer modals.

Hi,
As per my understanding, you want to change the function parameters in the formula text box when a function help is shown. Please refer to the below image.
For the mentioned requirement, you would need to specify the functions in the below format in the language resources of the culture.
Before:
SUM: {
description: 'Esta função retorna a soma das células ou intervalo de células.',
parameters: [
{ name: "valor1" },
{ name: "valor2" },
],
},After:
SUM: {
description: 'Esta função retorna a soma das células ou intervalo de células.',
parameters: ["valor1", "valor2"],

Hi,
I am not exactly sure what you are referring to. As per my understanding, you are either referring to the function parameters shown at the bottom of the “Insert Function” dialog box/modal or in the “Function Arguments” modal. Kindly refer to the images attached below.
In the modals mentioned above, the function arguments(for ABS() and SUM()) are already showing as per the culture specified. Kindly refer to the sample shared in the previous response. Also, note that in the previous sample, only ABS() and SUM() functions show function arguments as per the culture because only they are modified in the culture resources. Similarly(as mentioned in the previous response), you can modify the other functions’ parameters in the culture resources.
If you still face the issue or if you are facing a different issue, kindly let us know and share an image/video/sample of the issue. So that we can help you accordingly.
