  hi We upgraded wijmo angular from “5.20213.824” to “5.20231.904” recently as part of the Angular v16 upgrade, and noticed a small UI behaviour change of the grid.

  to reproduce this issue, please go to https://developer.mescius.com/wijmo/demos/Grid/Editing/AlwaysEditing/angular

  and make two small changes, 1. add [allowAddNew]=“true” in app.component.html 2. comment out code for populating data (line 39 to 47)

  After running, you can notice the ‘Country’ does NOT have the dropdown array on UI, but it appears if you add one row.

  This was working in version ‘5.20213.824’

  This is a known issue to the DEV team and is already internally fixed. You may verify the same from the attached sample.

  Hi,

  This fix will be included in the next stable release of Wijmo, i.e. 5.20232.MAJOR. Also, the tentative ETA for the same is by November end. However, in case of unexpected delays I will let you know.
