    Hello,

We are using the C1FlexViewer and the C1PDFDocument components to open and display PDF documents in our application. We have found, however, that certain PDFs which can be opened normally in Acrobat are crashing our application. We cannot even trap the error. Placing the code to open the PDF inside a Try - Catch structure does not successfully stop it from completely crashing the app.

The PDFs in question seem to be ones generated in AutoCAD using their PDF export capability. If we use the more limited Microsoft print to PDF, it does not cause the same issue.

I have attached a simple application that simply tries to open one of the affected PDF documents when it is executed. You can see the issue for yourself by running it. The PDF (11.pdf) is included in the ZIP file with the source code. We are using the Winforms 4.5 version of the C1 coponents.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Hi Mike,

We too can observe the issue at our end with the specific PDF file that you have attached. Thus escalating this to the developers and will let you know once we get any update on this from the developers’ end.
