    Hi,

we want to re-design our application, which uses C1Controls. In this way we also want to increase the size of C1Combo’s. We want the text to be vertical centerd, but I wasn’t able to vertical align the text content as I did it for C1ComboBoxes. I also tried for the C1Combo’s setting Style.VerticalAlignment to center, but without success. Is this a bug or can’t we set the VerticalAlignment for C1Combo controls?

    Best,

    Jens

    Hi Jens,

The VerticalAlignment property is working as desired at our end, please find the attached sample for reference.

If you are doing something else then please modify the sample accordingly replicating the issue.

    Hi Prabhat,

    thanks for your reply.

    I left some details, sorry.

Applying the following steps to your testcase and you will see my issue.

    C1Combo

    BorderStyle = None

Size shrinks to Height = 15

    Height has to be 25

    set AutoSize = false

    increase height to 25

    → text is aligned top

    C1ComboBox

    BorderStyle = None

Size shrinks to Height = 13

    Height has to be 25

    set AutoSize = false

    increase height to 25

    → works correct

    Best,

    Jens

    Hi Jens,

Sorry, but as per the developers there is no way to set Horizontal Alignment for C1Combo, as the editor is a Microsoft TextBox that does not have this capabilities.

If you need any other help, please let us know.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.

    Hi Prabhat,

thanks for your reply. But we don’t need a horizontal alignment, we need the vertical alignment. You said that the C1Combo has a TextBox as editor, when I use a TextBox the text will be automatically aligend vertical centered. Shouldn’t it be then also possible in the C1Combo?

    Best,

    Jens

    Hello,

Apologies for the delay in response.

This issue has been fixed back in 2021V3 builds and ‘VerticalAlign’ property is added for vertical alignment of text in C1Combo’s Editor area.

Please update your project with the latest builds to resolve this issue.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.
