Hi Philippe,
We set the CalendarView.VerticalOrientationLayout property to true and it works fine on our end. Please see the attached sample project and screenshots for reference.
Also, your screenshot shows that the control is stretched in width and does not have enough height to show the calendar dimensions vertically. Therefore, please make sure that the control has enough height to show the calendar dimensions vertically.
If you have a different implementation that shows this issue you are facing, please update the attached project to reproduce your issue, so we can investigate further and assist you better.

The original layout is different (Width = default width of a calendar and Height is at least 2 times higher.
But I will try your sample
