  Hi,
  
  how do I get the size of a control without an empty area?
  
  Is it possible to customize a control so thati it automatically shrinks to a size without an empty area?

  Hello,
  
  As per our understanding, you want to set the size of the control to the size of the grid inside of it so that no extra space is visible.
  
  For this use case, you can add up all the width of columns and the height of the rows in the grid to calculate a viable size for the control and apply it to the control.
  
  Please refer to the attached sample for implementation. (see FlexGrid_AdjustControlSize.zip)
