    Hello,

You seem to be adding plain text to a SuperLabel. Note that the field is used to insert HTML text in reports.

    http://help.grapecity.com/componentone/NetHelp/FlexReport/webframe.html#SuperLabelCustomField.html

Adding your text to a TextField and setting the AutoHeight property to CanGrow makes the field grow accordingly. Also, CanGrow for the SuperLabel works well when it has HTML content in it. This has been shown in “Report 2” of the attached report file.

    Regards,

    Esha

Hello, I do use html with super label and the CanGrow is not working…

Sorry - in the report I sent you I tried to simplify everything and I used plain text by mistake…

I modified your Report2 and CanGrow is not working.

Hello, I tried to use it but I realized that we use C1.web.api.report and we need appropriate DLLs which I cannot find in your example. Can you send me appropriate version? When can we expect that improvement in the new release?

    Thanx.

    Hi Mary,

We are sorry for the inconvenience since the issue has been originally reported for the WinForm, hence the issue was not in acknowledgment of the WebApi team.

We have acknowledged them about that and we will let you know as we hear something on this.

    Regards,

I downloaded the latest available Nuget Package (version C1.FlexReport.4.5.20192.382) and still see the same problem. The SuperLabel.Text value has the HTML tags but not auto-growing. Any ideas?

    I noticed the following:

    1. I can workaround it by appending “

” to the end of the html formatted text.
    2. If I have one line of text plus 3 bullets underneath ( key was used), it auto-grows and shows the text correctly in the report
    3. For the example in #2 above, if the line of text grows to two lines, only 2 bullets underneath will be shown. The 3rd bullet is gone missing. (updated: OK… doing the same workaround in #1 above resolved it.)

The issue was fixed in the 2019v3 release. The version you are using is the 2019v2 release. Please download the latest 2021v2 [version 4.5.20212.520] release and let us know if the issue persists.

The package you recommended (4.5.20212.520) has C1.Win.C1SuperTooltip.4.5.2.dll missing that I need it for SuperLabel

    Hi,

You can install the C1SuperToolTip using the C1SuperToolTip NuGet package, https://www.nuget.org/packages/C1.Win.C1SuperTooltip/.
