  Hi,

  I have a Developer License for up to 2020.V1. I am wanting to move to a new laptop. How do I go about it?

  Is it simply a question of Deactivating on the old machine, then Activating one the new machine?

  Hi Mark,

  A serial key can be used to license 3 different machines. Therefore, you can continue licensing new machines until you have the limit available. However, if have already consumed the limit then you need to deactivate the license on the old machine before activating it on the new machine.

  JFYI, our license key format has changed from 2020V2 so the old format license key won’t work with GrapeCity License Manager. Therefore you need to use C1LicenseActivation/C1LicenseDeActivation tools present at location C:\Program Files (x86)\ComponentOne\C1StartMenu to activate/deactivate the license.
