    1 - Does your Pdf Library support signing a PDF?

    2 - In an earlier post on the forum from 3 years ago I see that someone had problems displaying Pdf files that contained Digital Signature stamps. The reply then was that it was not supported. Is the display of the stamp supported now ?

    Hello stokara,

    C1Pdf and C1PdfViewer for WPF does not support digital signatures. I am escalating this as an enhancement request to the development team for consideration.

    Meanwhile, for creating pdf files, you may use of C1Pdf for Winforms. Please refer to the following sample which explains how to create digital signatures in C1Pdf for Winforms:

    Thanks,

    I briefly tested the WPF C1PdfViewer and it displayed a signed document correctly.

    Hello stokara,

    Thanks for sharing your observations. However, C1PdfViewer does not officially support digitally signed pdf. Though I am glad that it worked for you.

    Hello Stokara,

    You can set passwords with C1Pdf for WPF using the “Security object”. Following is the simple code that can be used :

    [csharp]myPdf.Security.OwnerPassword ="zzzz";

    myPdf.Security.UserPassword ="xxx";

    [/csharp]

    Thanks,

    Richa
