This release is packed with many big changes including the first look at our .NET 5 controls, .NET Core 3.1 support, new FilterEditor for WPF, material themes, and some necessary and important licensing changes. You’ll also notice new UI improvements in the C1ControlPanel installer.

Do FlexReports work in the WPF .NET 5 prerelease? Thanks.

    Hello,

As mentioned in the article referred above, FlexReport is not currently supported in .NET 5.

The team is working over making more controls compatible for the lighter .NET5 in future release versions. Stay tuned!

    Hello,

To clarify, we do not have a .NET 5 built version of FlexReport available yet, however you can use the .NET 4.5 version of FlexReport & FlexViewer in a .NET Core 3.1 or .NET 5 application. I can confirm it as of the VS 2019 Preview 4.

    Regards,

    Greg
