Last year we announced that the .NET 4.0 version of our WPF controls would enter maintenance mode, which meant only bug fixes would be included. Now it’s time for us to shift focus completely to .NET 4.6.2 and higher.

We will end support for .NET 4.0 WPF controls by December 31, 2023.

Additionally, our .NET Framework 4.5.2 WPF controls will now enter maintenance mode. This means we will only fix critical bugs. New features and controls will be added to .NET 4.6.2 version and higher.

    Supported versions of WPF controls:

    • 4.0 - Support ends 12/31/2023
    • 4.5.2 - Maintenance mode (critical bug fixes only)
    • 4.6.2 - Current .NET Framework version
    • 5.0 - Support ended 12/31/2022
    • 6.0 - Current .NET Core version

If you’re working with a .NET Framework application, we recommend updating to our 4.6.2 controls. If you have a .NET 5 application, we recommend updating to our 6.0 controls (which also support .NET 7).
