How to solve "License Activation Limit Reached" in ActiveReports

Background:

ActiveReports is licensed on a per-developer basis, meaning any developer who works on a solution with ActiveReports must have a license. Each license can be activated on up to three machines, so that one developer can have their respective license on multiple machines. When this limit is reached, the above error is displayed.

Steps to Complete:

Option 1: Deactivate the license on another machine to free up an additional activation. If this is not possible (machine crashed, decommissioned, etc), please see option 2.

Option 2: Contact support and send a screenshot or text snippet of the error so they know the issue immediately and can assist accordingly.
