    Hello,

I try to export C1GridView to Excel. I get the sample from
    http://our.componentone.com/2012/01/20/exporting-wijmo-gridview-to-excel/

But I get exception with message in german:

Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft JScript: Sys.WebForms.

What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance!

    Hello Wallner,

I am not able to replicate the issue with the code that you provided. See attached sample containing code you are using and it is working correctly at my end.
As per the exception message it seems to be an issue with the aspx code at your end. I request you to check the same in your project. In case the issue still persists, I request you to please send me a complete sample wherein the the issue is replicated.
Also, kindly let me know which version of C1GridView are you using?

    Regards
    Nidhi

    Hello Nidhi,

thank you for quick answer and example with my code:-)

I get your attachment and it's work very fine! I use the version C1.Web.Wijmo.Controls.3 and VisualStudio 2008.

I think, my problem will be then probably because i use a master page?!

I'm going to change my web pages and integrate your example. Then I come back!

    Regards

    Hello Nidhi,

Yes, the problem occurs when working with masterpage!

My workaround: I create for export a website without masterpage.

Is still a small problem, that excel reports an error when open the download file (see attachment).

Message: "You are trying to open a file in a format different from the file extension." After acknowledge "YES" the data are correct visible in Excel.

    I think it's a problem with Microsoft Office 2010?

    Regards
    Frank Wallner
