    Hi All,

    I have a wijgrid bound to a remote data source with paging and group area enabled.

    The paging on its own works and the grouping (by dragging column to the group by area) works fine.

    Problem comes in when I collapse a grouped section. The collapsing only collapse the data on the current page. It does not load the data from the next group onto the page. Also if the group that is being collapsed has data that spans more than one page and you page to the next page, the collapsed group's data is still expanded on the new page.

    I have come across similar posts here in the wijmo community, but none of the issues solve my problem. One of the post's solutions has examples but the same happens on both the examples in this post:[url]http://wijmo.com/topic/wijgrid-grouping-result/#post-21427[url]. If I open the Dynamic example in this post, group by category id and collapse the group, the grid only shows the collapsed header row of the Category ID 1 group (Collapsed Category ID 1.jpg). Paging to page 2 will show Category 1 group heading row again with two more items in this group.

    Can the wijgrid collapse grouped data and then load the next groups data onto the current page?

    Hello,

    I looked at the example
    //gccontent.blob.core.windows.net/gccontent/blogs/legacy/wijmo/2014/06/Dynamic_Paged_Grouping.html#

    It looks as the correct behavior. Grouping is applied but at the page level. The page currently contains 10 rows and after grouping it has to contain 10 rows only because the page size will not allow it to go beyond that.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    If you look at my question the problem is when collapsing grouped data not just grouping.

    After you grouped the data for that page and collapse the grouped data, only one row is shown. If the page is 10 rows then the next group and 8 of its rows should be loaded onto the current page.

    Also when you collapse the group that is currently showing ten rows and scroll to the next page there is still some of the current collapsed group's items expanded.

    Thanks
