after installing ActiveReports 17, i’m trying to create a Section Report Application using the template installed in Visual Studio 2022. but on the Target framework page, on the Framework drop down, it only has .net 4.8 or .net 4.7.2, i cannt select .net 6.

    Appreciate it if any help.

    Hi Tai,

ActiveReports Page/RDL/Section Reports samples are built over the ‘Windows Forms App (.NET Framework)’ which is why you are only able to choose the .NET Framework versions.

For .NET Core, you can add the reports after creating a new ‘Windows Forms App’ for .NET 6.

Please find attached a sample implementing the same.

Please Note: The SectionReport Code-based designer for .NET Core is not supported in VisualStudio 2022, you may use the following workaround to design your SectionReports Code-based in .NET Core: Design Code-based Section Reports in .NET Core.
