Question on Section reports and exporting to PDF

    Concerning latest version 14.2.20523

Reading the notes below, we see that we’re supposed to be able to export Section reports using the Rendering Extensions - something that wasn’t able to be done in prior releases.

    However, on this page: https://www.grapecity.com/activereportsnet/docs/v14/online/exporting.html

it shows that rendering extensions are NOT supported for Section reports. Is the documentation out of date?

Should we be migrating to using Rendering Extensions over Export filters over time? Are Export filters going to be depreciated? I’m trying to understand why we would use one over the other?

    From https://www.grapecity.com/controls/activereports/whats-new

“Now, with 14.2, you can render any report type (code based section reports, *.rpx reports, RDL, or Page) and export them using Rendering Extensions or Export Filters on the .NET Core framework. Section Reports support deployment to Windows machines.”
