Embed PDF Fonts in Existing PDF

I have a set of existing PDF’s that were created using a C1PdfDocument in C#. This object is used to generate a set of PDF’s with certain fonts.

Several users have complained that these fonts cannot be viewed on their iPhones, nor printed when printing from a USB thumbdrive.

I’ve found the “FontType” property on the C1PdfDocument and that works great. Any new PDF’s will open and render on the iPhone.

Is it possible to open an existing PDF, where the fonts are not embedded, and embed them AFTER they have been created using C1PdfDocument, or other related C1 object?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Sorry, this can not be achieved with any C1 component. Although you can use our “Documents for PDF” API to achieve this. You can refer to the following links:

    Product: https://www.grapecity.com/documents-api-pdf

You can download and use the free trial from https://www.grapecity.com/documents-api-pdf/download.

    Regards.
