    Hi

    I am trying code

    dim sfir as new Farpoint.Win.Spread.SolidFocusInidcatorRenderer(color.blue,2)

    Fpspread1.FocusRenderer = sfir

    This seems to put correct focus on all the parent rows, but when I expand parent row and click on a cell of the ChildView it gets normal focus not this custome focus..What can I try to get the same kind of focus througout the spread object?

    Thanks

    Shetal..

    Shetal -

    The child sheets are in a different spread view so you would need to set this up in the ChildViewCreated event.  However, when testing this  using the GetSpreadView method it throws an exception.  I have reported this as a bug and once this is fixed then this code should work for you...

    Private Sub FpSpread2_ChildViewCreated(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As FarPoint.Win.Spread.ChildViewCreatedEventArgs) Handles FpSpread2.ChildViewCreated
    Dim sfir As New FarPoint.Win.Spread.SolidFocusIndicatorRenderer(Color.Blue, 2)
    FpSpread1.GetRootWorkbook().GetSpreadView(e.SheetView, 0, 0).FocusRenderer = sfir
    End Sub

    Hi Bob,

    Do u know, when it would be fixed? Is therer a workaround for time being?

    Thanks

    There is no workaround for the time being.  After we post a SpreadWeb maintenance then we will be working on a SpreadWin maintenance.  I do not have an official release date at this time.

    Shetal -

    While trying this in a new project I did not get the exception and the code I posted worked just fine so it should work for you.
