    <FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>Hi,<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>

<FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>I want <SPAN style="mso-spacerun:yes;"> </SPAN>to save grid layout for spread and then fill the grid with the function :<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>

<FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>I’m using the open and save layouts function for this but I found that those functions save the layout with the data <SPAN style="mso-spacerun:yes;"> </SPAN>so when I fill the grid (with filling functions )and then set the new layout the data is changed. what I want to do is to load the layout only (for formulas color ext. ) and then fill the data to the grid with data <SPAN style="mso-spacerun:yes;"> </SPAN>member property so the grid will contain the data and the original layout (for formulas color ext.) <o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>

<FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>Do you have another function for this (to save only the layout)<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>

    <o:p><FONT face=Calibri size=3> </FONT></o:p>

    <FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>Thanks,<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>

There is not a direct method for serializing the Spread this way. You can write your own serialization to serialize only the parts you want. But, it may be easier just ot remove the data from the Spread before calling the Save method. If you are bound, you can do this by setting the DataSource property to Nothing (null in C#). If you are not bound, you can use the ClearData method to remove the data before saving.
