Multiple cell types for a column

I have a sheet that basically has 6 different sections of data. I want to put rows about the sections and use them as header rows, even though they are in the sheet.

I'm getting errors when I try to set the text for my headers, saying that the input isn't in the correct format. Is there an example of something simular you could point me to, or do you have a suggestion on how to accomplish this feat?

    Thanks in advance,

    John

    John,

You can assign a CellType for a Column and then assign a different CellType for an individual cell and that will override the CellType assigned to the Column. Then you can make that one cell a different CellType to accept your header data.

Even if the data is bound to a datatable???

    John,

No. If you are bound, you would need to use the AddUnboundRows method to add the rows for the headers. Then, you can assign the celltype to the cells in that new unbouund row.
