    Hi there!

I m working on data bound farpoint spread. I have used the autofilter, it is amazing. The thing that puzzel me is - Is there any chance i could avail the "2007 MS-Excel Autofilter Multiselect option" in the farpoint. At this moment of time i could select only one distinct value in an autofilter row. What i need is to implement the multiselection of distinct values in the autofilter.

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me answer this query.

    Thanks

    Mattie

    Mattie,

As Bob stateted, there is no built in way to have Spread use the Excel AutoFilter option you are talking about. And there is no eqivalent built into the Spread options. However, we have made our classes extensible, so you can code your own custom Filter and/or FilterItem to implement the filtering the way you want.

    Mattie -

The functionality you are requesting is not available in our product but I will add it as an enhancement for a future release.

    Hi,

Does latest Win-Spread release provides this functionality?

    Hello Sandeep,

This functionality is not added to Spread. However as stated by Scott earlier you can create your own custom filter to achieve this. You can take a look at our SpreadWinDemo and the Advanced Filtering page to see how to implement creating a custom filter and custom filter item.

    Thanks,

Checking back in on this feature.  Is there a built-in multi select filter feature in v5.0 or do we still need to code our own?

    Hello,

There is no functionality for multi select filter feature in Spread in the current version.
