Printing of RTF cells

    Hello everybody,

    we have some problems with Spread for WinForms v2.5.2011 concerning printing of rtf cells. Basically our sheet consists of one big cell which is intended to store some text (comments, annotations, …).

    The cell type configuration is

    RichTextCellType.WordWrap = true

    RichTextCellType.Multiline = true

    At runtime the content displays correctly. But when we print the sheet the text is not wrapped. There is only one line printed and the text is cut off at the right border of the cell.

    We have experimented with some settings of the PrintInfo class but had no luck so far.

    The problem only occurs on cells of type RichtText. When the type is switched to Text the printing is ok.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards, Rainer

    Rainer -

    I'm not sure if you want to pursue this avenue but this has been fixed in versions 3 and 4 so if you want to upgrade this would solve your issue.  It looks like it was a bug in v2.5.

    Rainer -

    I am going to open this as a bug in v2.5 because I think it should have made it into the last maintenance release(which is what I tested against) but I cannot guarantee that it will be fixed because we are not scheduled to produce anymore maintenance releases for this version.

    Hi Bob,

    thank you for your reply (within 42min, impressive :-) Unfortunately migrating to version 3 or 4 is not an option for our customer at this time. So let’s hope for a maintenance release. Anyway, thanks for opening this issue as a bug.

    Hi Bob,

    we also have this problem here.
    Currently we have a work around (manual line breaking) but it would be GREAT if there would be a fix available for version 2.5 since we currently cannot migrate to version 3 or 4.

    Best regards,

    I will pass this along to the development team.
